Niki's Story
Update July 2013
Well things have turned out differently than what we had planned, went to Spokane and then came back to Dayton, NV and so glad I did because I was able to spend a couple months with my dad before he passed away unexpectedly in May. My husband found a great job that he loves and we are having a house built in the Woodrush sub-division in Dayton, just can't wait to get into it and settle down for the last time, no more moving for us maybe forever, will see never say never right. Till next time :)
In a nut shell here is what has gone on for the last 30+ yrs.
Got married in 81 had 2 great kids got divorced in 89.
Remarried in 91 had 1 more child, moved to Montana, husband joined the Marine Corp. moved to Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA. for 7 yrs, then stationed in Spokane, WA. for 3 yrs, oldest daughter got engaged and stayed in Spokane, then on to...Expand for more
New Orleans, LA. where after 3 weeks Katrina gave us a great welcome and Gustav gave us a farewell after 3 yrs, my son got married and moved to San Antonio, TX and we went to the next duty station in Okinawa, Japan where I am at now. My youngest daughter just went back to the US to start college. WE are looking forward to coming back to the states and his retirement from the Corp. We are very tired of moving and just want to settle down, the worst part for me is having to start job's over again every time we move and because I do Payroll it only takes one payroll person for every 300 or so workers, so not as many openings in that dept., we are thinking of going back to the Spokane area when he retires.
